The most relevant result of the project is a decision-making internet based tool developed specifically for evaluating the sustainability of biofuels. This tool will enable the users to simulate and analyze different scenarios of development, production and use of biofuels, and compare them in order to identify those options that offer a better performance from the point of view of the sustainability.

In addition, other results expected from the implementation of the project are the following:

1. Reduction of the carbon footprint of the users (Bilbao´s City Hall And CESPA S.A.) in 20% respect to the initial situation.

2. Reduction of the purchase costs of the biofuels in 15% by means of the optimization of the costs along the life cycle of the biofuels.

3. Improvement of the sustainability and corporate image of the agents involved in the project.
